Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Kedarnath Temple today morning. Later Kedarnath Temple Committee presented a souvenir to Prime Minister. Uttarakhand Governor Dr. K.K. Paul and Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat were also present there.
Shri Modi is the third Prime Minister of the country who visited the Kedarnath Temple during his tenure after the Late Indira Gandhi and Shri V.P. Singh.
Prime Minister Shri Modi reached the Jolly Grant airport today at 8:10 am. Prime Minister was greeted at the airport by Uttarakhand Governor Dr. K.K. Paul, Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat and former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
