Republic Day and new generation

The young generation is not fully aware of the heroic sacrifices of freedom fighters that paved the way for our independence. Youngsters of today are not only ignorant about sacrifices made by our freedom fighters but they are reluctant oblivion, and selfish about freedom struggle. Great freedom fighters like Raja Mahendra Pratap, Ras Vihari Bose, M.N. Roy, Chandra Singh Garhwali, Munshi Ram, Bhawani Singh Rawat, Badri Datt Pandey, Bajeer Chand Bambwal etc. etc. from Uttarakhand played important role in the Freedom struggle but new generation has little knowledge about them.
